"I gave you everything" (다 해줬잖아) comes out of MapleStory. Fairness complaints around the Reboot World system surfaced in early 2023, and in early 2024 the cube probability manipulation scandal broke. Afterwards, director Kim Chang-seop announced that Reboot World had been "normalized" — and that word, 정상화, became a meme on its own. Users nicknamed him "Shin Chang-seop" (god Chang-seop), and "I gave you everything" mimics the tone of someone insisting every demand has already been met.
The humor works because mockery and worship are layered on top of each other. The register is that of deifying the director while the content points the opposite way, and through repetition it became genuinely ambiguous which reading is intended — which is the appeal.
Spread
The decisive push was a song. The creator Infodic began producing AI-generated tracks around May 2024, and "I gave you everything" broke out among them. It passed 10 million YouTube views at around 4:06 p.m. on November 8, 2024. It was essentially through this song that a game-community meme reached people who do not play the game.
That the title names no specific game helped too. The sentence attaches just as readily to any game's operators, and to situations outside games entirely. Parodies poured out of other game communities and from fields with no connection to games at all.
How it is used

- Imitating anyone who overstates what they have done for you.
- Paired with "normalization" phrasing, to describe measures called improvements that improved nothing.
