"Do You Know Dr. Hong?" (Hongbaksanim-eul aseyo?) is a song released in July 2023 under the name Jo Ju-bong, an alter ego of comedian Jo Hoon, as well as the dance-challenge meme built around it. The track runs 1 minute 41 seconds; Gwana composed, arranged and produced it and co-wrote the lyrics with Jo Ju-bong. The lyrics are a lowbrow comic story about a woman with a body-image complex who learns a strange exercise from a man called Dr. Hong, and the silly move of flailing the arms while shaking the body became the challenge's choreography.
Jo Hoon debuted as an SBS comedian in 2016 but got few chances on air and struggled financially for years. According to a September 2023 Newsis interview, the song began as material from his stage comedy, which he turned into music content with the comedy production company Meta Comedy. The music video was posted to The Myunsang, the YouTube channel he runs with fellow comedian Lee Seon-min.

The short, easy-to-copy move helped the challenge spread on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. As of the interview, the YouTube music video had passed 4 million views, with more than 11 million plays across platforms. BTS member Jungkook and singer Lim Young-woong both referenced or imitated the song, and it spread abroad to places such as Japan. Jo said comments accusing him of milking the trend left him conflicted at first, but he came to see even that reaction as part of the meme and as proof of how far it had reached.
The popularity came with controversy. Parents worried that even elementary school children were singing the suggestive lyrics, and a government ministry was criticized for undermining its dignity after referencing the song in its publicity. Jo Ju-bong released an even racier follow-up on November 7 that year, and Jo Hoon defended the work as satire of human desire and contradiction, saying he wanted to point to the paradox of a low-birth-rate society that enjoys adult comedy while avoiding dating and marriage.
